Mother Nature's Symphony

On this blog, you'll see little writing. I want instead to let the photos speak to you themselves. I hope you take time today to notice the beauty around you, and thank our wonderful God for the display He gives us each day.

  1. Oh my - they're beautiful, Laurie! We won't have any little bird friends here for a couple more months yet.
    Enjoy!

  2. Wow! What lovely birds.

I am from the UK, so don't recognise them ..... what sort of birds are they?

    Thanks

  3. PS I might add that they don't need a 'name' to be beautiful! I love just watching birds and often don't know what they are!

Just curious! The red one in particular is stunning :)

  5. How beautiful! So glad to find this blog. I share your love of what our Heavenly Father has created! I am a transplanted Michigander; we moved to North Carolina back in '83 and live on a 55 acre farm. I hope you'll visit my site once in awhile to see our version of earthly paradise. I'm going to be a regular visitor.

  6. These birds are just beautiful, Laurie! I see you live in Michigan; we moved from there to North Carolina back in '83. Nice to see Michigan nature on this blog! We live on a farm where I have chickens. There's a blue heron who lives at our pond, and we see ospreys once in awhile. Carolina wrens, phoebes, and Eastern king birds frequent our property. We hear pileated woodpeckers most every day although they're very shy and would rather not be seen. My favorite bird, though, is the flicker, related to the woodpecker family. It's a treat to see these guys. I'm enjoying your lovely photos; keep them coming! 8-)
